Do you know a young person with exemplary achievements in your country and would like to honour them? Is that young person creating impact through sustainable solutions? Then, JCI Ten Outstanding Young People (TOYP) would be a great way to honour them for their positive contributions to society.
What is TOYP?
Ten Outstanding Young People Program (TOYP), which was introduced in 1983, has been one of JCI’s longest programs, it aims to recognize 10 outstanding young people who are contributing positively towards their respective societies. Since 1983, JCI has honored more than 300 individuals from 57 nations. Some of these recipients include well-known personalities such as John F. Kennedy, Henry Kissinger, Elvis Presley, Jackie Chan, Wayne Gretzky, and many more, who were all honored before the age of 40 and before they had achieved any national prominence.
What do the honorees do?
The honorees motivate their peers to seek excellence and serve others. Their stories of discovery, determination, and ingenuity inspire young enterprising leaders to create better societies and take action for sustainable impact. Over the past years, many of these nominees have gone on to attain greater achievements and have continued to serve humanity, creating impact in numerous ways around the world.
